Pumpkin Spice Almond "Latte"
I love having hot drinks in the fall and winter! This coffee alternative has lots of flavor without the caffeine. The star ingredient is Dandy Blend which is a coffee alternative that has roasted dandelion roots, chicory, barley, rye, and beetroot. It has a coffee flavor with various health benefits. The natural sweetness from the beetroot and the medjool dates add the perfect amount of sweetness without the need for refined sugar. This drink is very grounding and is a great way to wind down at the end of the day.
Makes one generous serving.
1 Tablespoon Dandy Blend
1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
pinch of vanilla powder
1 3/4 cups of unsweetened almond milk, warmed to the temperature of your liking
optional, 1-2 medjool dates (pits removed)
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend thoroughly until dates are blended smooth..
Pour and enjoy!
